    • During Busy periods backordered concrete candles can take up to 2-3 weeks. If you need your concrete candle by a specific date, please let us know.

  • • Your candle has a memory. When you burn your candle for the first time let the wax melt all the way to the edge. By doing this, your candle will burn evenly all the way down with no tunneling. Burn extra large candles for approximately two hours and large/medium candles for one.

    • To ensure an even and smoke-free burn, trim your wooden wick to about 5mm each time before lighting. This helps reduce soot and smoke, ensuring a clean burn. When extinguishing your candle use a snuffer or blow gently until the flame is out.

    • Do not burn your candle unattended and discontinue burning it when approximately 10mm of wax remains to prevent cracking.

    • Keep away from children, curtains and pets.

    • Always protect the surface on which the candle rests. Please take care when placing our concrete candles on furniture as they may damage delicate surfaces.

    • Remember to keep your candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. As we don’t use artificial additives, our soy candles may sweat, melt, discolour or fade when they are exposed to intense light or heat for extended periods of time. These do not affect the quality of your candles in any way and they may be safely burned and enjoyed by you, your family and friends.

  • Burn time -To prevent tunneling and create a candle memory, for the first time you light your soy candle let the wax melt all the way to the edge of the glass. Never burn for more than 4 hours at a time.

Trim wick before every use- It is normal in Soy Wax for your wicks t mushroom. This is easily fixed by trimming your wicks to 6mm. Trimming will ensure your candle does not burn hotter than it should, and thus will prolong the life of the candle burning gently, be sure not to cut it too short or it will become engulfed by wax.

Avoid draughts –Candles burn best in still air but if you cant avoid draughts, turn the candle periodically to avoid uneven burning and possible candle collapse. A candle in a draught may also start to smoke

Candle storage- Candles are sensitive to temperature and light. Fragrances with s vanilla content may yellow if exposed to sun light of florescent light, this is normal and does not affect the burning of the candle. Store your candles in a upright position.

Putting candles out- It is always best to use a candle dipper or a candle Snuffer rather than blowing out to prevent wicks from drifting off center and to avoid wax splash. This will help to maximize burn time.

Keep the burn pool clean- If you get any black at the rim of your glass simply wipe it away with a damp cloth, this may be a sign that your wick is to long.
